Speaking Objectively
Speaking Objectively was a live performance exploring people’s attachments to the objects they surround themselves with. Based on interviews with 14 people about their possessions, the performance stretches the boundaries of verbatim with movement, text, musical composition, and stage design all springing from these source interviews and the performers' curiosities about the role that objects play in our lives.
Co-Directed and performed by
Nell O'Hara and Kaiya Bartholomew.
With original composititions from
James Mackay and Angharad Pether.
